Shasta Lake California

“Oh, to be in California, now that vacation time is here." Robert Browning is definitely not going to be turning in his grave to hear this version of his work.

After all, he also happened to be a sun worshiper, and would have been glad to visit sunny California anytime of the year. California is such a large state, that one can spend a year and a day just exploring its scenic beauty and tourist locations. So, if you're interested in exploring the natural as well as man-made wonders of California, come to Shasta Lake.

RV Parks are quite popular rest and recuperation tourist spots in America, but the redding and Shasta Lake area RV parks are slowly and steadily making a place in the hearts of tourists.

Not only can you enjoy a little bit of exploring in the caves of Shasta Caverns, but you're going to be fascinated by the incredible view of the world’s largest hydroelectric plant and the second tallest hydroelectric dam. And after you have explored this dam and hydroelectric plant thoroughly you can do a little bit of swimming and jet skiing upon the lake.

Now that is what one would call a thoroughly memorable vacation! After that, go for a little bit of relaxation in the exploration park at Turtle Bay and spend a couple of hours at the Museum. You can also relax a little bit more by walking across America’s one and only Sundial Bridge.

Quincy RV Park

Sierra Nevada Mountain RV Parks

Another area that has long been a favorite for RVing and camping enthusiasts is the Sierra Nevada Mountains. One of the more popular hub destinations is Quincy California.

While providing a good place to restock provision and even check out a museum and other points of interest, it also provides a central location to many of the natural wonders in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Including Bucks Lake for fishing, swimming and boating, a beautiful stretch of the Pacific Coast Trail for hiking and other nearby location for biking and horseback riding in the spring and summer and snow skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.

Quincy is located between Lake Tahoe and Lassen National Park making it a good overnight stop as well. If you’re on your way to Reno, Quincy is about 70 mile from Reno.

If Dad is needing to get away, maybe a few hours at Graeagle with six golf course will fit the bill.

With all these activities you’re going to need a comfortable place to spend the night. And for RVers and Campers nothing can compare to Pioneer RV Park. Pioneer RV Park is located about 1.5 miles from downtown Quincy California and offers everything you need for a great stay. Of course there are full hookups, special sites for large Motor homes with pull through, satellite TV, Group areas, laundry and even WiFi.

Redding California RV Parks

The location of Shasta Lake is excellent. One hour's drive from Lassen Volcanic Park and stunning Mont Shasta is going to bring you to this park. If you enjoy swimming, you can swim beneath Burney Falls, which is considered one of the natural wonders of the world.

Hikers pick up your boots and stick, to trek to the state park at Castle Crags. When you are staying at a Redding RV park. Not only are you going to feel cherished and pampered but you can relax in the sylvan surroundings of splendid shade trees, immaculately kept lawns, awe-inspiring and romantic sunsets, and a refreshing pool, which is solar heated.

Every single convenience which you can dream of provided at  RV Parks. A RV park is ideal for a family vacation, along with your pet dog, because we have a fenced dog run for it. Why not let him enjoy chasing the squirrels, and birds in the lush gardens?

Northern California RV Parks are slowly and steadily getting recognition for being  the most beautiful landscaped gardens and parks in the state of California. So if anybody wants to get really far from the maddening crowd of the metropolis, these parks are the place to come to. Enjoy the camping facilities and amenities here. Spend your summer vacation, among the giant redwoods.

And if you are really into exploring all the tourist locations all around you, the Monterey Bay aquarium, the Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, and Cannery Row are just waiting to welcome you.

Northern California has some of the best fishing lakes. I thoroughly enjoyed my say there last year. I found a great site to find my fishing boat equipment @ http://www.superfishingmart.com.
